Use for toppings, spreads, dips, and marinades. The paste is very tasty and a little spicy.
Ingredients
- Organic red peppers
- Tomatoes, fresh or dried tomatoes reconstituted in water
- Garlic*
- Onion*
- Turmeric*
- Pasilla chili pepper
- Chili powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Red dulce flakes or powder
- Paprika
- Safflower petals

Instructions
- Cut 1–1.5 cups of organic red peppers.
- Add tomatoes. If using dried tomatoes, soak in water and piece out.
- Add finely chopped garlic, onion, and turmeric (or dried powder).
- Add pasilla chili pepper. Remove stem and seeds first and chop into small pieces.
- Add chili powder, red dulce flakes or powder, paprika, safflower petals, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Add 1 TBSP of lemon juice.
- Put 1/8 cup of purified water into a food processor.
- Add the mixture and blend well.
