Every day, a person’s kidneys process about 200 quarts of blood to sift out about 2 quarts of waste products and extra water. Without this important filtration system, excessive compounds and waste matter would build up in the blood and cause tissue damage. Kidney Aid Ingredients
Boldo (Chile): Comprised of many important compounds; traditionally used to treat kidney, liver, bladder, and urinary tract infections. Boldo is the major herb used to support kidney health in Central and South America.
Burdock Root (U.S.A): Contains multiple types of various antioxidants including quercetin. It can purify and remove toxins from the blood and reduce inflammation.
Fo Ti Tieng (He Shou Wu, U.S.A.): Tonifies, warms, invigorates, and nourishes the blood. A tonic that benefits the kidneys, adrenals, liver, and blood. Used for longevity in Chinese medicine.
Chanca Piedra (South America, India): An Amazon plant known as a “stone-breaker” for its traditional use in breaking up and expelling both kidney stones and gall stones. It supports liver, kidney, gall bladder, and urinary tract functions.
Uva Ursi (aka Bearberry, Europe, and U.S.A): A mild diuretic and astringent that helps repair and strengthen irritated and inflamed tissue, especially in the liver and kidneys. It cleanses the blood & colon, tones the urinary tract, reduces the accumulation of uric acid, and helps prevent infections including yeast overgrowth.
Noni (leaf, Hawaii): Supports kidney functioning; cleanses and helps maintain proper fluid balances in the body. Noni has also been used to reduce stress.
Asparagus root (aka Shatavari, India, Europe): A diuretic that cleanses and detoxifies the kidneys. It can ease urinary tract infections and being a diuretic, can reduce edema. It has also been shown to reduce blood pressure. It is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine and cooking.
Horsetail (U.S.A): Rich in minerals, especially silica, and is a co-factor of calcium and magnesium. Strengthens the bladder and is used to reduce fluid retention (edema), expel kidney and bladder stones, control incontinence, and treat urinary tract infections. It is rich in minerals, especially silica, and is a co-factor (a catalyst that increases chemical reactions) of calcium and magnesium. It can be applied directly to the skin to treat wounds and burns.

Manzanita berry & leaf (Mexico): A diuretic used traditionally used to cleanse the kidneys.
Damiana (Mexico): Used to increase urine flow and for its aphrodisiac effects. It has also been used to reduce stress and depression.
